HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Planet Fitness has officially opened its doors in Hackettstown’s Mansfield Plaza.

At the upcoming grand opening event on Feb. 16 at 4:30 p.m., there will be giveaways, along with the possibility of winning prizes including a one-year Black Card Membership and a 30-Minute Circuit workout.

The 14,000 square foot space at 1965 Route 57 boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including rowing machines, cardio, strength equipment and 30-Minute Express Circuit. Members can also unwind in the massage chairs, HydroMassage loungers, tanning booths and Total Body Enhancement booths, among offerings.

Hackettstown’s new facility has touch-less check-in, a crowd meter, regular sanitizing every 20 minutes and local mask policies, as part of its COVID-19 protocols.

The company has also recently opened another new location in Clifton.

“We’re excited to expand our presence in Clifton and Hackettstown,” said Shannon Meyers, Vice President of Marketing, Grand Fitness Partners, a franchise division of Planet Fitness.

“Finding the right gym can be intimidating, but Planet Fitness aims to make fitness accessible, affordable, and Judgement Free for everyone, as well as safe and squeaky-clean with our spacious clubs,” Meyers said in a news release about the grand opening.
